Do I need some kind of voltage control with my folding solar panel?
If you are using either a Sunlinq 6.5 w or 12 w product no voltage control is necessary because there is voltage control built into the panel. Voltage control may be necessary for the Sunlinq 25 w or any of the P3 solar panels. Be sure to check your device or battery operating instructions for voltage input and output recommendations before charging with these solar panels.

What type of voltage control do I need for the different battery types?
No voltage control is required for the Sunlinq 6.5 w or 12 w folding solar panels because there is voltage control built into the panel. With the Sunlinq 25 w or P3 solar panels, you will most likely need the 7 amp charge controller for any lead acid battery and the voltage limiter for any other type of rechargeable battery. Be sure to check your device or battery operating instructions for voltage input and output recommendations before charging with our solar panels.

Can I connect more than one folding solar panel together?
Yes, you can connect the folding solar panels together using a “Y” cable. It is not recommended to connect a Sunlinq 6.5 w or Sunlinq 12 w to a Sunlinq 25 w or P3 solar panel because of the built in voltage limited in the Sunlinq 6.5 w or Sunlinq 12 w models. However, a Sunlinq 6.5 w can be connected to another Sunlinq 6.5 w or Sunlinq 12 w.
